Why SOLIDWORKS PCB?
On July 28, 2021, Dassault Systems announced that it is discontinuing the SOLIDWORKS PCB product.
SOLIDWORKS PCB provides the best of all worlds:
- SOLIDWORKS PCB was designed to allow for a tighter interaction between an EDA tool and SOLIDWORKS.
- This is accomplished through the PCB services, which also act as a repository for its projects.
- By having its foundations in Altium Designer, those familiar with Altium Designer will quickly utilize the tool effectively.
- Those who need to upgrade to Altium's products like Altium Designer and the Altium Vault System (AVS) can do so with little difficulty.
