Layout Design Review
The following is a sample list of layout design reviews. We can tailor these services to the needs of the individual client. Upon completion, a detailed review report will be provided.
- Implementation of the Manufacturer's Suggested layout
- High-speed trace requirements: impedance, diff pairs, length matching, etc.
- Layer stackup for impedance matching, environmental concerns, etc.
- Mechanical dimensions: mounting holes/pads/slots, clearances, cutouts
- Basic thermal analysis: heat sinks or spreaders, thermal pads, etc.
- High-current traces
- Via tenting
- No solder paste on test points, etc.
- No starved vias on power planes or copper pours
